Your questions answered
What sessions do you offer?
I provide 1-to-1 coaching, junior sessions, and group sessions for all ages and abilities, each tailored to the player’s goals and confidence level. You can find more details on the coaching sessions page.
What are your coaching qualifications?
I’m Level 2 Badminton Coach listed on the Badminton England coaching register, with a First Class degree in Sports & Exercise Science and a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
I hold an enhanced DBS check, up‑to‑date safeguarding certification, and full Badminton England insurance, ensuring every session is delivered safely, responsibly, and to the highest professional standard.
My badminton coaching certification can be viewed here Certificates
What makes your coaching different?
I’ve coached a wide range of players — from beginner juniors and county‑level players to university squads — and even supported the preparation of the GB Para‑Badminton team ahead of the Tokyo Paralympics.
My experience goes far beyond traditional coaching. I worked courtside as a Senior Systems Operator on the Badminton World Federation World Tour with Hawk‑Eye. That exposure to world‑class players' movement, decision‑making, and matchplay gives me a unique perspective that I bring into every session.
Do you coach complete beginners?
Yes. Sessions are designed to build confidence, technique, and enjoyment from the very first hit. I cater to all levels, ensuring a welcoming and productive environment for everyone.
Do you offer junior sessions?
I have dedicated junior sessions designed to introduce young players to badminton in a fun and engaging way, focusing on fundamental skills and teamwork. More information can be found on the junior sessions page.
How do I book a session?
You can easily book your preferred session by giving me a ring or sending me an email.
Where are the sessions held?
What should I bring to a session?
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 24 hours notice for cancellations to avoid being charged. Please contact me as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.
Do you offer discounts for block bookings?
Yes, I offer discounted rates for booking multiple sessions in advance. Please enquire about my package deals when you contact me.
Can I try a session before committing to a package?
Absolutely! I offer introductory sessions for new players. Please get in touch to arrange your first lesson.
